Where were you today?

In a cost saving measure, I slept until after 11 am so as to not wake up so early that I felt I needed to eat breakfast. Skip directly to lunch this way, eliminate having to buy food for that pesky third meal. It sounds like I'm kidding, but I'm not.

William, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I put oatmeal in a small crockpot overnight with some raisins and I will get 2 breakfasts out of that. Cheap, healthy and sustaining then you can skip lunch and have supper.

I sat next to "our" president (the president of our college) and we watched it together on the big screen in our school auditorium.......along with about 250 other school employees and students.
Many other students watched it in our library and student center. And lots of students seemed to be watching the webcast on their laptops.

Friends of our's drove down yesterday to stand in the National Mall today. We thought about doing it, but it's sooooo cold here (I must be getting older).

The transfer of power was civilized, orderly and respectful.
Some other countries should take note.....

I was with 28 - 14 year old students who watched their 1st inauguration. It was awesome to know that I was a part of not only this historical event, but the beginning of future generations as well!

I agree. No bloodshed, no mobilization of private army within the army "owned" by a few select generals. No loss of private property seized by the government takeover. America The Beautiful.

Set the valve clearances on an Alfa engine. What a lot of fun. Micrometer, feeler gauge, shims, math, cam in cam out cam in cam out, order shims.
