I keep going to the bottom, but it is not there. So where do you think it should go?
 
I didn't even know it existed until people started talking about it. So, I don't know :laugh:
 
I think it should be up to the Wizard of Oz (sorry Basil) since we are playing in his server. :jester:

I still keep going to the bottom first, I guess by habit.
 
Unfortunately, I only have the option of putting it at the top OR the bottom, but not both. Personally, I don't care either, so we'll see what this poll suggests. I am going to suggest to the forum software developer that they just display it in both places and make everyone happy! I really don't see the point in having it in one place or the other anyway. Why not just have it in both places. I looked at the code myself and was hoping I could make a simple mod that would force it to display both places, but it looks to be more complicated that I was hoping.
 
Basil, I feel you frustration. As an IT manager with 6 programmers among other staff, the most difficult task was to get the programmers to overcome their bias and listen to the end user. Even as the boss, I sometimes just gave up...

Good luck with the vendor.
 
Makes no never-mind to me.

But I'm still hoping for a "hover preview" on each forum's main page. :whistle:

It as a drop down menu that allows you to move from one forum to another. It is currently located near the top of the page next to "New Reply" and "Topic Options"
 
Oh, I only read 2 and they are on my Fav's toolbar on top.
 
So far I am winning by a three to one margin. Or of those with an opinion, I have 75% in favor of moving it back to the bottom. I love descriptive statistics.
 
Drats, now my position is losing! Just call me Dewey.
 
I'm now using a back button to get where I want to go...but found it easier to switch forums when the button was on the bottom, as that's where my screen and cursor were already located.

I'll roll with the punches...but prefer the bottom.

I never saw the 'hop to' button until now.
