Not a FEW items for sale....EVERYTHING not attached to my existing MGs need to go. It would be nice for someone with a shop or a very serious tinkerer. Same thing with all my VW stuff..and Mustang stuff. If its not bolted on...its going. I work for a recycler and they'll take it all...just wanting to see if anyone would like to buy it first.

Jack,
How can I get a list??

Listing everything would be quite a chore...as would posting pics.
When we get home from vacation next week I'll do my best to do some of both. The biggest problem is my location....nowheres New Mexico. I'd love to have someone fairly close to come and take tons of stuff. I'm a hoarder and doing a self intervention. Have seen way too many people leave their families in a mess by departing too soon without much notice. My wife and kids have been too nice to have this nightmare dropped in their laps...thus this move.Guys...its just stuff...not gold or jewels... Before we left for our Florida place I walked around my shop and was shocked to see how bad its gotten. One room has a B eng(complete) as a door stop....under one bench that I have countless MG parts on..theres a couple of o/d trans ans surrounding them are numerous luggage racks of different types. Then a long row of 1800 B engs and trans. Boxes of MG parts from stripped cars from years ago. Top frames, gages, seats, doors and hatches..to name just a few. I got crap folks...good crap...but totally useless to me. manifold, carbs, air filters, complete front and rear ends...both steel wheel and wires. Glass and more small bits all over the place....There are no MG freaks in the area so I fear most of this stuff will just have to go away.

I'd love any of the shippable VW 1600 dual port engine and fuel injection stuff. I'm looking at a rebuild soon, and would love to have spares for the electronic stuff. Also, still looking for the type 3 engine cover.

Jack, contact me off list. I have two friends in the general area. I may be able to get rid of a truck load for you.

I have one new grill(never used) but may have a buyer. When I return from Fl. next week I'll send him a pic...if he dosen't want it I"ll send pic to you and see what you think.

Jack,

Thank you! I'll miss your posts of the interesting
cars that you've saved.I hope that you still check in time-
to-time.

For now I'm hanging on to the A coupe and two GTs..69CGT and 71BGT..AND I got a pleasant suprise the day before we left for Florida...my neglected 90 XJ-6(just waiting for me to paint it) needed to be repositioned when my buddy..an old geezer who was asked to come back to active duty and fly predators...heard it run and said"SOLD".....nearly giving it away. New tires and paint, 106k miles, perfect leather and for some reason the electrics are perfect and everything works..one more down. But I'll still be around...will keep everyone updated on my Mission trip, my Air Force reunion trip and (ugh) my 45th high school reunion in Cooperstown NY this August....hope I hit the lotto. If not may have to sell a body part, if I can find one that isn't damaged...

my Air Force reunion trip

I'd like a link to THAT party, Jack.

Jack, you need to load up your biggest trailer and just drop off parts between home and Cooperstown

The Air Force reunions are one of my favorite trips. Real tame as most everyone there is way over 70...makes me feel young...okay...not really. The WW2 guys are a hoot and a real national treasure..I love all of them. If you google 49th FSA..you can see us there. and as far as dragging this stuff on a trailer to Cooperstown..sounds good but doubt I'd find a buyer for a single part. I seem to be able to stumble over this stuff fine, but can't seem to be able to adopt any of it out.
