Where to place rear bumper over-riders.

Is there a set place where to locate the rear bumper over-riders? I can't find any past witness marks or previous holes. The reason I ask this is I want to put a new exhaust system in and want to run a double tip out the back. I want to know where I can place it
Thanks,
Mike

Look in the boot to see if the triangular reinforcements are there.

Mike are you wanting to mount overriders on your bumper or mount them seperately as a cobra style bumper? If the later then what Trevor Jessie said is the way to go, just find the reinforement mounts in the boot and drill out through the rear panel. If you want some different spacing the reinforcements will swap side for side and that will move the holes in towards the center about 2" oveall. If you're making your own brackets you can also offset the holes on those to gain another 3/4" or so. I used a combination of reversed brackets and offset mounting brackets to get my rear bumpers right in line with the back up lights.

Guys:

Nothing in the boot. No brackets or supports where the over-rider would mount (cobra style). I take it that's where the inner bracket goes. If that's the case, should I put my double muffler tip to the inside or out side of the over-rider? To much inward and I'm afraid the gas tank will get in the way of the exhaust pipe.
