Interesting. I am certain that I must have seen that in the past (I have copies of pretty much all factory Workshop Manuals, Service Manuals, and Parts Lists), but certainly did not remember it.
It appears that it may apply only to RHD cars, and shows just one mirror, on the driver's (right hand, in this case) side, far out on the wing. <span style="font-weight: bold">In fact, that appears to be further forward than I think I've ever seen a mirror actually mounted.</span>

As the quantity has already been noted, I will only go on to say that my mirrors (as installed by late Ray Caivano) could be fitted to either side of the car, depending on the orientation of the mirror to the stem. See the links I posted above for a lack of rh/lh in the ordering descriptions.
