Where to get 7" headlights

I've heard that you can swap 7" headlights into the outer positions on XJ6\12 models, as those lights were standard everywhere else in the world. However, I can't find any of the headlight mounts or surrounds for such a conversion. Does anyone know where such parts might be found?

The 7" assemblies were European specs only, they were not offered to US, except some Grey Market cars were Imported. Borders has some good British car magazines to check out order sites from England. Beware the fenders of the 7" lights are different part numbers. 7" lights are available from XKS Unlimited and Welsh Enterprises.

This is a common and easy swap. Totally changes the appearance of the car.

The chrome "embellishers" are still available new from Jaguar or from a variety of vendors such as Paul's Jaguar or Coventry West.

The "buckets" are the same as used on any MGB, TR6, or any other Brit car with 7" headlights.

No need to change fenders. Allow a couple hours to make the change.....an hour if you're fast !
