LOL

BTW, I've read reports that the steady pulling pressure of those "buns" can cause permanent hair loss.
Obviously, I think they look dorky (with apologies to anyone here with said buns).

I think dorky is a good description (and my apologies too if anyone has this "do"). But whatever floats your boat.

My 40 yr. old nephew has one, for what reason I'll never know. I understand they are out of style. I don't know who he is impressing, lives at Mom and Pop's and any girl he only dates once. Hasn't figured that out yet.

When I was young we had Bell-Bottom pants and tie dye shirts. Thankfully both fads have gone the way of the Dodo Bird. When I look at old pictures with me in Bell-Bottom pants, I ask myself "what was I thinking?"

Thinking? Nah - not then, not now, malady of youth. Fortunately for the most part we recover.

Those might have been better than sagging pants/shorts.

I remember the bell bottoms. Wouldn't wear them. Dad wanted me to join the Navy, like he did, but I joined the Marines. He had a fit and asked why. " I am not wearing bell bottoms!" At least I was in the Dept. of the Navy!

For me, joining the military helped - a lot!

Actually about the only compelling argument for conscription that I can think of.
