Has anyone heard from Dale? I still don't trust that red devil any further than I could throw it.

He's been busy lately and I am sure that we will all hear from him soon.

broke down, on jacks, waiting for new box

OK Dale what is wrong with Amos now? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

Re: Where is Dale & Amos?

The damned car now has a broken tie rod end that
must be ordered and installed.

Plus the hood latch components (hood and body pieces)
shattered while driving. I cannot close the hood at all.
The new assembly is on back order from The Roadster Factory.

Began the install (refurbish) of the driver's side front
wheel bearings yesterday.

so.......................
Since my other red vehicle is fully functional...
I going after some Silver King tarpon today. I'm
hoping the Crypt Car paint on the prop inspires the
car and does cause my boat to break down.

Re: Where is Dale & Amos?

Dang, Dale, looks like you have been running through some reefs with that boat. What's with all the scraped paint on the whale tail? That paint on the prop should last about, oh, 10 minutes tops.

Re: Where is Dale & Amos?

For you inlanders, a whale tail does for a boat what Viagra does for.....

It helps to get it up.

Re: Where is Dale & Amos?

Bill,

We call them Stingrays here. Yes, they help the boat
get out of the hole faster and up on plane.

It must be the angle- You are looking at silver trim
on the ray's edges. No scrapes on that one.

Three coats of 2 component polyurethane on the prop
and skeg. We shall see what we see.

Sometimes fishings the shallow flats, we "dust" the
prop a bit.

Fishing trip got canceled at the last minute due to
drunk and disorderly conduct by others last evening.

So today is yardwork afterall.
