Where I'm going to take my Healey next summer.

Looks like fun... is there an Irish AH club "run"?

Unfortunately the Irish AH Club, which was based in Dublin, is now defunct. There aren't that many Healeys around in this country.

I only use the car on dry roads as I don't want to compromise a 48 year old car with rust. So when it's dry I take it on the www.classiccar.ie runs. I believe the car spent a large part of its life in the States, returned to England, was converted to RHD and largely restored. I bought it in October last year.

Is there anyone else on the forum who has a Healey in Ireland?

P.S. I'd love to take it on a trip to the Highlands, up past Loch Lomond, Oban, the Western Isles; a dream trip. Some day, perhaps.

Hey KindredSpirit,

I took my healey to Scotland in 2006 - it was fantastic

Mind you, this year, I went to Norway, that was even better!

Had a fantastic holiday in Ireland with the Healey two years ago visiting my wifes hundreds of cousins. Did 2000 miles, the car always got a great reception, thumbs up from passers bye all the time. Great roads, but needed new silencers on return.

What innoculations are required for a car when it travels internationally??

That colour scheme is stunning. Any pics of her in Norway?
