Where did the summer go?

His timeline is slightly, shall we say, flexible. I'm figuring a couple more months. I seem to remember that he does have all the work done on the Le Mans wheel already, those may even be ready to ship. For custom work, I'm willing to wait. Last time I checked in with him, he had a couple wheels ahead of mine, including a Ferrari and Talbot Lago if I remember correctly. Impressive.

He's got some pictures on his site of the Le Mans prototype on his Bugeye. The center hub looks nice and original-ish, like it belongs.

Now that's a beautiful wheel. I'd love to see what you get as a final result Droo.

That wheel was designed by him to the sepcifications from the picture in the Orginial Sprite and Midget as an optional item from the time.

And yes he does beautiful work, did you see his Bugeye and his home?

I spent quite a bit of time looking at the pictures on his site before I talked to him about an order. Very nice all around, a real craftsman.

I was originally looking at that Le Mans wheel, the reproduction of those old factory optional ones. I liked the other style a bit better, in part because I could get it smaller (14.5" versus 15.5" for the Le Mans). Makes me wish I had more cars so I could try out more of them.
