...an owner's manual for a '75 Midget?

Got mine from VB. you can find them in the moss catalog as well as on eBay from time to time. You also might check out half.com for some good used copies.

JC, thanks. Brian's car came without a manual. Another question, Haynes or Bentley for a good repair manual?

"Haynes or Bentley for a good repair manual?" Yes ... Both

Both? Ooookay. Why? We have a Haynes for our '75, but we're getting a Bentley (on the advice of everyone) for the restore of the '66.

I want to pick them up, along with an owner's manual for Brian for Christmas. Get both right? And are they 'year specific?'

Thanks!!

I second the advice of having both. As far as the Bently manual goes, you can find them a lot cheaper than $60. Just look around. I bought a used one off of ebay for $20 including shipping. I watched them for quite a while and saw many going for 30 to 35 so just be patient and you will get a good deal.

Ebay it is! I did get a Haynes off half.com for $11something shipped.

Certainly you can find one for less than $60 on ebay. I was supplying the link to show you the version/isbn that I thought was appropriate. There also has been a CDROM released with parts list and factory service manual (i think). Check Moss or Victoria British for details
