Where are the "Metal Dipping Houses" in the SE??

Howdy Folks,

I may need to have my Bonnet dipped(?).I`m looking for a "Redi-Strip" or someone who does this type of chemical stripping in the NC, SC, GA area.

Anybody know of someone????????????????????????

Thanx, Russ

Re: Where are the "Metal Dipping Houses" in the SE??

Almost 20 years ago I took the bonnet from our GT6 to Carolina Chemstrip.

They did a good job for me. At the time I remember seeing that they had the capacity to dip entire cars if you wanted them to.

I used their facility in Glen Raven (now listed as Burlington). However, I noticed on the web site that they also have a facility in SC.

Howdy Doug,

"Thanx" for the info. I`m going to try & contact them today & hopefully they are still open & Chem stripping. Is the NC facility still open in the event the SC facility is not?

Thanx and Happy New Year,

Russ

Hi Russ. I no longer work in Burlington to know about that facility. It has literally been 20 years since I took the GT6 bonnet to them. However, the web site is still up and running so I have to assume that at least one (if not both) of the two facilities are operating. A quick phone call and you will know for sure.
