Seems like the posts are getting fewer and fewer on the MG forum. Some other sites are getting much more activity. One site I know of gets 10 to 20 posts a day on MGs. Have most of the guys drifted away, lost interest, bought a Triumph? Seems like the Triumph guys are quite active posting. Does that mean they break down a lot more??. Just wondering. Somethings a little out of kilter.

We've been trying to drum up some more activity here for a while now. For a while, I was reporting what's been going on with the GT conversion, but I haven't had time to work on it much. And the Roadster's in the paint shop getting a respray, so nothing to report on there.

It is kinda quiet...

Ahhh, young grasshopper.....you see, it is not that most of the guys have drifted away.
Here at BCF, the guys are DO-ers....they are out, to borrow a phrase, to 'Git 'er done!'
Time to drive, young grasshopper!! :driving:

Work's got me too busy to be doing much on my B these days other than sneaking in a few drives here and there.

The MG section has never really been as busy as the Spridget, Triumph, or AH sections. The "other" main MGB site has generally had much higher traffic. I do prefer things over here, though.

I should have some good travel stories/pictures later this month, though, so I'll try and do my part.

I'm Uber-busy so it's been hard to spend too much time on the computer.

Two weekends ago, I was at Britfest and posted pictures of that ~HERE~

I spent last week getting the car and trailer ready for the New Hampshire Vintage Celebration. We left for that early on last Friday and got home on Monday night.
Yesterday I did some post-racing clean up and repairs on 909. Today I did more work on the racer and then went to work to grade some last-minute assignments that were handed in.
I also had to attend mandatory sexual-harassment training for all employees. Thankfully, I brought the paper and got a little shut-eye (it's always best to sit in the back for these sorts of things).

Tomorrow at around 3 AM, I'll head out to Summit Point, WV for the Jefferson 500. We will probably not get home until Monday night.
Next week I'm part of a two-day presentation on Women in Engineering. Then I am helping with our graduation ceremony (next Thursday). Then Friday, I'm attending a conference of local employers so I can get them to hire our engineering grads.

I am hoping to do a few semi-local touring runs with the MGB once stuff at school settles down.
(I also want to get back to work on the A35....but that's not an MG  )

Been busy trying to find bean money. 'smits position was "eliminated" recently, we've been scrambling a bit.

sorry to hear doc - being going through the same here - same reason.

Sorry to hear it for both of you Doc and JP. Rough times out there, as always let us know if we can assist.

I too am sorry about your situation Doc. Seems to be a trend that's been going on too long. Maybe after the next election things will eventually improve. Hope so. PJ

I've noticed the Triumph Forum has always had WAY more activity.

I'll start posting pics of my '58 MGA restoration soon.

I'm in Shreveport, LA getting warmed up for BritishV8 2012 that starts tomorrow in Palestine, TX.

which is in part because they have one forum for all Triumphs while we have one for Spridgets and one for everything else. And, of course they break down more.

That said, yes, pictures please!

Well, the daughter is still working on her homework, so no MGB for her today. I spend my time tearing into the wife's Sprite, so that's sorta MG related.

Yes...we ate last night at Ralph & Kacoo's.

I had alligator, shrimp, crawdads, softshell crab, hushpuppies, gumbo, and a great filet along with a couple of Abita Ales. Topped off with some bread pudding.

I'm still full.

Ralph and Kacoo's - Abita beer - La. seafood - bread pudding.

It does NOT get any better.

PERIOD!!!!!

And if you ever get to Clarksville, we'll fix some of Janet's gumbo and my etoufee'!
