I love Rocky Road

The Vestibules: (Off the wall, but really funny)
Bulbous Buffont

Bobby Bare:(Campfire favorite)

Johnny Cash:
Boy Named Sue

Commander Cody:
Hot Rod Lincoln

Haywood Banks: (My personal all-time favorite)

TOAST!
The Revenge Song
The Ballad of Ivan Clyburn

The Smothers Brothers:
Mediocre Fred
Tom Dooley
My old Man

Kingston Trio:
Charlie on the MTA

The Dillards: (they were on the Andy Griffith Show)
Dooley

Spike Jones
Cocktails for Two
The Danube isn't Blue

Tom Lerher
Poising Pigeons in the Park
The Elements
The Masochism Tango

And some Dr. Demento favorites that I don't remember all the groups that did them

Star Trekkin ( By The frantics?)
Shaving Cream (Dr.D himself sang that one)
Tai Quan Leep (Boot to the head)
Existential Blues
Fish heads
Dead Puppies
Beep- Beep

I was hoping by giving the list of groups and singers, that you'd be able to remember and find some of your long lost favorites.

and this is one of my favourites - may not have made it far south of the border. Novelty song from a novelty band. Two members of the band philosopher kings with fake british accents did an entire CD on the animated adventures of Milo and Simon. Interestingly, they did music for Disney who made them record under the name Milo and Simon rather than Prozzak
