IT is funny you said that. The other forum I used to go to allot is just the opposite. Even a Military guy as myself got tired of the bad language, attacks on individual people, constantly rude people and in general the inmates running the prison. Most of the tech smart (like the HUmmer) I watched them run most of the novices off the forum, most of the smart techies left because of the ignornant people on the page. The whole forum went down quick, probably over a 6 month period, when a new modertor took over. If you doubt me go check it out

We've been very lucky to attract mostly decent folks who just want to enjoy discussing a fun hobby with others of like mind. Before I started BCF I hung out on some other forums and was always turned off by some of the crude and rude language and flames that would take place. So, I decided that when I started BCF it would be a different kind of forum - one where people would have to play nice if they wanted to belong.

Believe it or not, having a flame-free forum isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and we’ve actually lost a few members because of our reluctance to allow politics or other obviously controversial topics here. I’ve even received a few lectures about the 1st amendment (obviously from people who don’t know too much about the subject nor the concept of a “private” forum). But those types are the exception. Most people here seem to enjoy keeping the discussions non-confrontational and mostly focused on the hobby.

I will confess that sometimes I tend to be a little too quick to react to things, but I’m working on it. Usually those instances are due to stresses that in reality have nothing to do with the forum, but the forum becomes a convenient place to vent my frustrations. I know it’s a fault I have, but I’m trying to improve in that regard.</span></span>

For those who don't know, my girls are 13 and 19.These girls have never been out of Canada before and are as excited as can be. Without this forum none of this would be happening. I'll try to get the girls in bikinis and send pictures to all you guys!!!

Well Anthony-

There are four houses for sale in my neighborhood
right now. You could totally miss out on winter
in New England and be driving twisty mountain roads
up to lechon restaurants here in the tropics.
