Yesterday I saw a Nova.
 
Second generation Honda Civic wagon has been parking in front of my office on a regular basis, in remarkably good shape, neat to see, a rare site, at least in the midwest rust belt.
 
Parked on daughter's street is a Studebaker Wagonaire and Volvo P1800, both with current tags. I am surprised at the number of 60's & 70's cars I see on the roads here in Portland (PUps too).
 
A Sterling, remember those? Must have been operational was in a strip mall parking lot. A little rough but not too bad.
 
How about a AMC Eagle SX/4.....and not all rusted out....
 
Saw a Ford Tempo yesterday. Looked showroom new.


Can't imagine that anybody would "restore" one so it must have been continuously garaged and hardly driven.

Early 70's El Camino. 2-tone paint. Root beer-ish brown with pale Primrose-ish accents. Ugly and awesome all at the same time.
 
A pristine Orange Maverick with Black vinyl top driven by an old lady with white gloves.
 
White Rambler Classic 4 door for sale down the street.....My Dad drone on ein the 60's!!!

1975 4door Maverick with 5 mile impact bumpers. DD by the way it was parked. No time for a pic but they haven't improved with age. (Though i have a soft spot for early ones in the proper proportions.)
 
The 2 door Maverick was passable for the day, even a little sporty in an American car kind of way, but the car was obviously designed as a two door, the four door was pretty hideous (IMHO).

Pcouldn't agree more. BTW, aronud the corner from my house is what I am fairly sure is an early 70's Corolla (partially obscured) he also has an ealry 70's Dodge Coronet wagon for sale.
 
Dodge Diplomat - remarkably good shape and Ford Aerostar - not so much

This has appeared a couple times lately in my neighbourhood. At a distance, the sills still seem to be disappearing.
