wheel width on bugeyes

Hello, I know we have discussed this on the board many times, but has anyone actually measured what the widest wheel is that can fit without any rubbing on the bugeye (front and back)? Is it 5.5"? 6"? A definitive answer--provided someone has one--would be great.

I have 6" wide wheels that work. The back spacing can be critical. I think I even have some 7" ones that work too. They kinda stick out a bit though. You kinda have to have no more than about 3.5" back spacing, to keep the tire from rubbing on the inside.
