Wheel Well Liners

Nah! I'm putting them in my V8 car only because we've run the wiring harness inside the fender.
 
I don't have any experience with those but for the same money I'd consider painting the inside of the fenders with some pick up bed liner material instead. Can't create a cavity for water or dirt to hide in like the liner and will protect the inner side of the fenders from stone chips just as well as the liner.
 
I do not like them because they can be seen and i like the wheel wells painted body color. With that said i wish i had a set in the 73 that i have been test driving! I was checking the power curve on the MGB with the cross flow head and was running a steady 4000 in 4th. I put my foot into it and it continued to pull hard to about 4400 when i heard a loud bang and backed off the throttle. It sounded like someone hit the car with a baseball bat. A wheel weight flung itself straight up and into the fender. No amount of underbody coating would have protected the fender from the dent. Would i consider the liners now? Still the answer would be no. I have a buddy that goes by "the hit man" and he removed the dent. There is a small star where the paint fractured. If you drive them stuff will happen. My car now has a character star! Trapping dirt and moisture as Bill says is also a perfect reason to properly prep the inside of the fenders and coat them with any product that does not come in a spray can. Bob
