Wheel studs

Hey Steve,

I don’t know them off the top of my head, but chances are somebody in the group knows this.

However if you take one of your lug nuts down to the local Auto parts store (Napa, Checker, Autozone etc.) you can determine the exact tread size.

Good luck,

The lug nut size on my 1971 MGB is the same as that on my 1989 Bronco II. I do not know the size but Wal Mart has the Bronco II ones. My wheels have not come loose after 7000 miles this summer.

Would you believe 1/2-20 UNRF(sae fine thread) for MGB wheel studs? This really suprised me,then I found that all of the original bolts on my '73 MGB were SAE fine thread. This made it much easier to raplace hardware.
