Hi,

Has anyone had a TR-6 steel wheel straightened? If so, did they center the wheel with the hole in hub or the lugs?

Thanks, RG

I asked two specialty wheel straightening places in Raleigh, NC about straightening a TR6 wheel and both said they don't even attempt to straighten a steel wheel. They said steel wheels don't straighten like alloy wheels and they can't get them very straight. I'd be surprised if you can find someone that can do it successfully and get it in spec.
Regards, Bob

In addition to that, being bent and straightened makes them even more prone to crack.
