I am sure that this has been addressed before, but my search skills may be lacking. Will a 15x6.5" whel fit a 72 stock B without any adverse ramifications? Thanks for your patients and help. Ed
 
Depends on the tire choice, as well as wheel offset. A 6-1/2" rim is pretty wide. May require rolling the inner fenders and/or reducing the bump stop on the frame rail.

I run a 6" rim on both of my MGCs.
 
I put probably 200 MGBs on 15x6 +24mm wheels, most use 195/60/15 tires, here's one of many, this is the VTO 15x6 Lemans on 195/60/15 General Altimax HP tires.
