Hey,
I'm sorry I could not figure out the search options to find this answer. I am purchasing 72 spoke for my BJ8. I saw some Dayton 15x6 on ebay. Is this too wide for our cars? I would like to go a little more than skinny stock, but want to keep it within reason!
thanks,
David

Hi David, IMOP 6" rims are a bit wide for the Healey. But 5" widths will work OK and still give you the stronger 72 spoke options, as well as allowing the use of wider tread width tires.---Fwiw--Keoke

I think the defacto standard 72 spoke wheel width is 5.5", which is suitable for 185-70-R15 tires although 195-70xR15 are used by some people as well.
