TR2/3/3A Wheel Lug Nut Torque for a TR3?

What's the recommended lug nut torque for a TR3 and would it be different if using American Racing Mag wheels? I would remind all Brit sport car owners to check the lug nut torque on all wheels before putting their cars on the road this Spring. Most find that they are often surprisingly loose.

I would think 55-65 ft-lbs would be the correct range. I usually do mine at 60 to split the difference. Cheers, Mike

The book value for TR3-4 steel wheels is 45-55 ftlb. If you have wire wheel adapters, 65 ftlb.

ISTR the book gives quite a bit higher value for Stags with factory alloy wheels (100 ftlb), but I don't know if that would apply to alloys on a TR3 or not.
