Wheel bearings??

Lots of tapered roller bearings out there to replace the front wheel bearings. Who do I trust to have the best? Or do they all have the same source? Moss says theirs are specially made for them but if they are made by the same people that made the last County ball bearings that I'm replacing I'm not sure I want them.

Speedwell Engineering has correct ones with shims so you can retains the spacer. All the tapered bearing installations I've seen in the past don't allow the but to go on far enough. Judging by the fact that Moss included new nuts, I'm guessing they may be a custom (shorter) height to correct for this. I don't have personal experience with either of them, but I'd be 100% confident in the Speedwell one.

The best part of buying the Speedwell kit is that it comes with the shims so you can do the proper installation.
I cannot recall the brand that Speedwell sells but I bought SKF when I did my street BE , I had plenty of shims left over from earlier work.

I've got a dial indicator with a magnetic base and have done bearing set up on MGB's so I think I can handle the job. Wouldn't even think of leaving the spacer and shims out as some of the kits expect you to do.
