Wheel bearing grease, what should I know?

I'm heading into town to day, and wanted to pick up some grease for the rear wheel bearings -- so I can put the rear hubs back together this weekend if possible. Anything I should be looking for, or is this pretty standard stuff?

Good question Drew, and one I've asked myself in the recent past.
What about grease for the suspension too?
Synthetic?
I've got synthetic in my grease gun, been feeding it into my zerks all year and it seems to be doing a real good job. I bought a tub of "high quality" bearing grease from NAPA when I redid my front hubs (on the 'B').
Anyone have a reason not to go with synthetic?

Grease on rear hub bearings is no big deal. The diff oil actully does the lube work. The grease is just there until the oil gets sloshed over there.

So get some wheel bearing grease.

Thanks. Picked up some Mobile1 wheel bearing grease at the local parts store.

Drew, I just used regular grease on the rear bearings, it is only there till the oil gets worked up there.
