Wheel Alignment

Any info on wheel alignment would be appreciated. By eye one of my BJ7 fronts seems to toe out, no undue tyre wear apparent.I am unable to measure the way the manual instructs(I assume there are special jigs).Should e.g. a straight edge touch fore and aft tyres in the same fashion indicating all four point straight ahead?

Re: wheel alignment

High John, Yes that is one way to do it as for the straight edge you can use a piece of string.on both sides to determine if all four point ahead.---Fwiw---Keoke

Re: wheel alignment

Hi John,
For some reason the Big Healeys always "look" like the front wheels are toed out. I suspect it is caused by the particular curvature of the front fenders. There are several ways to measure toe in. If the car drives ok & is not wearing the tires, I wouldn't be concerned about it.
