What's Your Weather?

Still lots of people here without power. My neighbors across the street don't expect power until late Saturday. Lots of tree limbs with ice on them brought down power lines; its a mess here.

Nasty. The winter of '78 convinced us we needed to escape.

We live in an area that is known for ice storms. Knowing that, I had a propane powered whole house generator system installed, that was 2 years ago. We haven't had a ice storm since! Not that I'm looking for one, but strange how things like that happen. The system is totally automatic, if power goes out, 15 seconds later the generator come on line until line power is restored. It even checks itself once a week by running off line for 10 minutes. Nice insurance. PJ
