Far as I'm concerned, "hurricane season" beats earthquakes an' snow storms ANYTIME. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

I dunno, we live in earthquake country and I haven't felt one in years. (knocks on wood)

....we have a 'heads-up'. As much as a WEEK to prep. Try THAT with Richter's earthquake scale...

Speaking of seeing it coming. We're getting prepared for the big nor'easter set to hit tomorrow night here.
I've heard predictions of 6 to 18 inches. This stinks!!!
But I'm spending tomorrow getting my cruddy old snowblower to run, and I'm gonna put it out front for a good price.
Perfect timing. Free up some garage space And make 3 times what I could if it was sitting out front in the grass. hehehe.

I'd say: "Strike While th' Iron's Hot" but it'd seem a bit silly under th' circumstances...

IYSWIM. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Must be "Global Warming."

That's why we make sure we're always ready. Nothing in the garage is on shelves. It's all locked cabinets. Nothing that can tip or fall is left up high. When you put decorations on shelves, you put a little dab of quake hold under it. That way, we don't NEED any warning! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif Snows gone except in front of the garage (northern exposure, metal roof, sun equals about a foot of snow right in front of the garage where Agatha lives.

BUT, shoveled the snow, temps to be in the 70's and am leaving shortly with Agatha to do errands and then just have fun!!

That's the weather report for my neck of the woods in the Land of Enchantment.

I just looked in the front yard and a baseball was lying near the road.

I guess it rained a hail-sized baseball.
