I have 7 styles installed which you can choose from (at the drop down at the very bottom left of most forum pages). Which is your favorite (so far). More will be added later.
I've been using the "Default" style, and while it is reasonably functional, it's a bit bland. I like some of the elements of the "Carbon-Fluid" style, but the reds were a bit too much.
A middle ground with the good visual contrast of the "Default" style with some of the more interesting visual elements of "Carbon" would be the ideal for me -- would provide some brand identity for the site, while still being very usable.
AegeanEcru seems to be the easiest on the eyes! the others styles have some rather "bright" colors.
I like the picture on the top of Take five with the bolts.

bitten fruit fluid suits me most i think. it uses the full width of my screen, and isn't hard on the eyes. Though, the width of my screen has the "Britishcarforum" image tile showing up on the top. So, up there I have:
"Britishcarforum ... insert a lot blank space here ... Britis"

I keep jumping from one to the other but keep coming back to the default style. I agree that it's a little bland, a little more color would perk it up a bit. But that's ok with me, I can read it and move around in it with ease. Old eyes get tired a little faster than the younger folks. PJ
PS, I am amazed that with all the different personalities out there, no one has chosen the carbon style.
