Just got my latest issue of British Car magazine and saw this picture/caption. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Hmmm...Can't see too much wrong with the picture, but I reckon I could suggest a small correction in the caption...

Size/number of grille bars suggest an XK140?

Tiger gets the prize. Besides the fatter grill with the emblem on the grill instead of the hood, the heavier one-piece bumper also signifies this as an xk140, not a 120 (and being a 140, it could not be 1954 either.)

Yes, hence my comment that the problem wasn't really the picture, rather....the caption was in error....

And on a side note, the very earliest XK140s were built in 1954 and sold as 1954 model year cars...so it could actually be a '54...which could have been what caused the error in the first place...
