MGB What's with these '72 MGB's?

The few pics I've seen of Teal make me think it's not a bad color at all. Much nicer than the later Tahiti Blue, which is almost fluorescent! (Apologies to any Tahiti owners!)

Love the discussion. My son and I each have 71's and are now and originally teal blue. One with Autumn and one Navy. Prior owners had painted my car several colors including white and PINK. You gotta admit teal is better than that. Bob

Yeah, all four of my Bs have been red. Someday, when I need a new paint job, I'll seriously consider a stunningly unique (but classy) color.

I have owned 3 and they have all been red, actually, Tartan Red!! I would never own one another color, unless I was gonna sell it pretty quick!!

Vermillian Red, chuck, Vermilllian Red! Or Pageant Blue - not TEAL BLUE!

Carmen Red, TEAL BLUE were both colors of the same type - they either appeal to a person or they don't - no in between...now, Carmen - I can live with that color - kinda a subtle, classy red with hints of raunchiness in it!

To me, far too many Bs are red. Seems like lots of people think that all sports car just have to be some shade of red, no offence to red B owners. It' just that the color is getting too common. Given the choice of walking over to look at a B at a show or parking lot between a red or a black tulip, the black tulip will get my attention first. Mallard and russet are two more colors that just don't attract me. Come to think of it, seem like MGs have lots of colors that I don't care for, and most of them were on RB cars. Some were too bright or too muddy. Teal I love, Aqua, too. Black tulip, accronite, black and the tan that I cannot remmeber the name of right now are my favorites

A lot of the later BL cars (MG, Triumph, etc.) came in, shall we say, very period colors. Russett is one, the weird orangeish yellow of my '76 Midget, various shades of blue. Very jet set seventies.
