item # Item number: 4647970329 on E-Bay - buy it now for $10,300? What am I missing here?

Good question. I have eyed it as well, certainly none of the things that set my e-bay alarms off are present (short term seller, bad feedback, goofy and inarticulate descriptions) so it COULD be a bargain.
I would certainly take a careful look at it if it were a reasonable (day trip) distance away.
I did note the lack of mention of an overdrive but it IS e-bay so who knows?

Cheers!

It will be gone shortly. I reported it. It is fraud. Very obvious. Price too low. Was auctioned awhile ago and the biggest clue - "approved bidders only".

wow!

but I'd think the give-away price /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif was the biggest clue /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Heh! I was thinking that it might be a bequest from his uncle,(an ex-Nigerian minister of finance)!

Cheers!
