There has to be some parts out there people don't need or are willing to part with.
But, the classifieds only have a couple cars for sale?

Personally, I could use a hood ( bonnet/ engine cover). Would love to find some bodies old wire wheels ( course I plan on going chrome) etc.

Is it a site thing or forum policy that no parts are listed?
 
the classifieds are off the beaten path so for me I never think about checking for parts to buy or sell. eBay is my first stop for shopping, but the parts never look as good when I get them. you need to have patients and not to be on a time frame. the bonnet I mention in the other thread took two years to get all the parts and work done. the spridgets are a simplicity designed for the hobbyist . plus most used parts have the same sore spots. good luck in your search
 
Flea bay or new are probably your only option. Remember they all tend to rust. I have most of the parts from at least four parts cars and only one good bonnet that I don't want to give up at this time. Remember every year can be made to fit so the later the cars that you can find being parted out the better chance of getting a good one. Craigs list for a parts car may be worth checking.

I checked with Kent Miller for you. No Hood/Bonnet available at this time. Although he has a shed full of Spridget parts and pieces in Cincinnati. He may be at the Dayton Show on 8-04.
 
Yup, so
Far eBay and Craigslist are my sources. I did find a few parts so far but no bonnet :frown:

I figured a large swap meet would be the place. Who dey Dayton in the 4th. Most interior parts will be Vitoria, moss or ogspares. OGspares has a nice selection and catalogue.

No rush....
 
Do you mean AH Spares? I'll be there with Bugsy and my 10 y.o grandson. I know John Kuzman from Hamilton will be there as well. You can expect perhaps 10-15 Spridgets and they put Sprites and Midgets in different spots on the field. You can see Bugsy by his license plate.

You need to think Parts Car. That may be the easiest way to acquire a Hood. Or Fiberglass Hoods are available if worst comes to worst.
