I'm always getting ants in my light switches in the barn. I just had to clean out the switch on the compressor to make it work. Why are anys attracted to my electrical switches? How can I stop it?

You sure they're not amps?

just have to work the bugs out of the system

When I get a shock, it feels like ants crawling on my skin. Maybe there is a correlation.

Hmmm... Electrical bugs.... There's no "current" solution to your problem, it's just a re-volting situation.

De-bug by place a single or half a moth ball in the bottom of the socket.

Oh my! that was good. I'm jealous

I know an Indian that has a red aunt :jester:

We had issues with ants in Guam when the rainy season hit. Seems they would follow the conduit into the house. Moth balls worked. The toghest part was geeting their legs apart..."BA-DUM-BUMP".

Whatever you do, don't use Bengal Roach Spray near a spark. Had a friend recently that was spraying under his hot water tank when the thing came on. BOOM. 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Not pretty.

Just thought I would throw that in.

I think ants are eating your Romex.....
