My tool box doesn't have a lid. :cryin:

Ditto here.

Milk crates don't come with them

We've just started to look real estate. Then I can have a real garage and a place for tools. Right now, I'm too cramped to even think about a decent toolbox and proper a workbench.

How the heck does a Sporty car racer NOT have a proper tool box??

It HAD to come off the racer...it weighed almost 3 oz.!!! The little plastic stick-on weighed MUCH less!!!
The only place to put it without losing it was on the box. Been there for years now (the car was a '67)!

Nothing.....

I don't know how to tell you this, but I have three stickers on my tool box! I'd take one of them off but it's been on there for at least 15 years so the paint might be discolored underneath.

Oh, M'Gawd!!!

Post proof or retract!!!

Hmmm I wonder why I was having starting problems with my Spit. Look at all that varnish! A rebuild kit has been ordered from Weber, and I'll be busy doing some tearing down and cleaning.

I may have to retract. My tools are 3,000 miles away so I can't get a picture.

Best I can do is this one from when I was still building the garage. You can just make out the two on the lid. The third is on the left just above the top drawer of the lower section.

Hey, Steve, your tool box looks just like mine!!

It's a standard 26-inch Craftsman. I've had that one for a really long time, since back when Craftsman boxes were actually high quality for the price. The middle is a bit newer, perhaps 10 years. I had to go to the next level of quality / price to match the quality of the older stuff. The side cab has been removed and hard mounted to a wall to make space for the rollaway in that little slot between workbenches. You can see it still sitting on the ground on the lower right of the photo. The lower walls had not been painted yet.

Nice setup Steve. That is the garage I hope for one day. I think the only addition I would add would be a lift, or a pit.

Well that would be a subtraction then, Steve's got two lifts.

Mmmm, two lifts. I would be in heaven. I would imagine that my GF would make me live in the garage, but I think I would manage..
