Not that any of you really care...
Some of you may remember me as the young kid who likes to play with British sports cars from a few years ago. The good news is, I still do. I've been away for various reasons, so I'll update all of you on my current state, just because it may amuse you...
I went off to college in fall 2007, to pursue a degree at a state college. Because I did well in high school and on the ACT, I was placed into the Honors Program, which paid for my tuition, but not room and board. During the spring semester I got mono and missed a lot of class, and ended up having to forfeit my scholarship.
The following fall, I began attending community college, and discovered several things that interested me, from a career standpoint. I started studying audio production, and started getting work as a freelance voice actor. I got a gig from three manufacturers of radio controlled cars, who had a display set up at this year's Long Beach Grand Prix. Nearly half a million people heard my voice! I felt like I was on top of the world.
I was doing well until this past spring, when I discovered that my girlfriend of four years was cheating on me with an older co-worker. The same day, my identity was stolen. I was heartbroken and depressed. I didn't drive either of the LBCs this year at all. When I get depressed, spend money. I sold my Mustang, gave away the Jeep, and bought an Oldsmobile Cutlass I had been looking at for a while (the ex hated this thing). I bought a purebred Siamese kitten. I rediscovered my long-latent love of baseball and went to a ton of games with my father. I worked harder than ever on my music. I went out a lot and dated a ton of girls. Still depressed, I started smoking.
As time went on I realized that I had done the right thing by getting this albatross off of my neck. Then, another string of bad luck went my way. I got in a car accident on the way to pick my parents up from the airport. My student loans were pulled a week after classes started. Worst of all, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I began throwing myself into my schoolwork and a career, trying to cope with everything. Finally, things have began sorting themselves out. my student loans were re-instated. My father got a surgery date. I just opened up my own detailing shop.
Now that you know how I got here, know that I intend to stay even longer this time. I have a lot of stuff to do...I still need to get Tony Barnhill back for the Midget brake parts he sent, and I just picked up a Jaguar IRS for my MGB. Next year will hopefully be a great year for me, as I continue to reconnect with what's important. If you made it this far, thanks for reading...

Hang tough Man!
With the above posts. Welcome Back! I've been around for a while and can say with certainty that life is to be lived no matter what. Been down and been up but mostly am delighted to be living. Each day I get out of bed I am quick to thank the Lord for letting me have another day and even quicker to say "And please don't let me mess it up too badly."
