Whats My Midget worth.

Unless you HAVE to get rid of the car, keep it. Like he said, if you get rid of it you will regret it and wind up paying double for half the car later on.

I agree, sort of, but if he can't sell it for XX, he won't have to pay XX to buy one either, unless the market skyrockets in between.

If it doesn't blow your skirt up anymore (you haven't driven it much lately), sell it for what you can get and look for something that tickles your fancy. Life is short, pursue your toys now while you can, or use the $$ to do some good for someone.

I say keep it till til spring. Drive it and see if the spark reignites, if not, see above.

I also have a '76, and like JP, before I even read what the other replies were, a little <span style="font-style: italic">"ka-ching!" </span>with $4K on it went up in my head. For a rubber bumper, that's about the top end. Especially when, for just a little more, the discerning Midget shopper can have a chrome bumper round arch model with SUs and a 1275, in the same condition. Disheartening but true: they're bad investments. Heckuva lot of fun though.

I'll side with the folks that say keep it and live with it. You have a carb thats, well, better than the Stromberg, you have it sorted and pretty (I assume.) Slap a dash cap on it, pull the bumpers and bolt on an eggcrate grille for a quick facelift, and see if she doesn't light your fire anymore. :driving:
