What's has become...

Count me in with Darwin and Basil.

It's just winter is when you work to raise the money for parts,as it's too cold to work in the garage, unless you have enough time to let the heater catch up.

My Spitfire has wind up windows, or at least they did when I took it apart.

Don,
That's got all the windy-window guys talking! It is a bit like poking a stick into a wasps nest!

I guess I will represent along with Andrew.

Family cars made by a Race car company ...

REPRESENT!!

At least you have the right amount of cylinders

My TR6 is still waiting for my mechanic (me)to
fix the front brakes, water pump,& find affordable tires.
My mechanic works cheaply - but it takes him forever to
get anything done.

I suspect it's because window guys are rather effete and hibernate during the colder months while sidescreeners are use to the elements.

Im waiting till the fair weather to get back to mine.

Kinda tough getting too excited about working on my car in a Unheated garage!

maybe 1 more month then I'll get to the retrofit brake system.

but she did start right up the other day!

I am holding off on removing the 6 from roadworthyness to rebush the front end until I can get the 8 running. I consider it bad form to not be able to motor in a proper British vehicle which precludes both from being apart at the same time. Since the 8 motor bits arrived in many boxes and I'd never seen an 8 up close until I owned one, I am spending a fair bit of time playing "Where's Waldo?"

It's all good.
