Not tonight, Mickey, but a couple nights ago I had what'd make a Cajun boy like you lick his lips. Grits and Grillards. Even the leftovers were delich...

*SWOON!*

Not had breakfast here yet and now I'm wantin' mudbugs!!

Thanks a pant-load, Mick.

mickey, those are the bigest "mudbugs" ive ever seen!, bet thems was delish, i once left 40 lbs. of them in the trunk of a loaner car at an airport in norlins, forgot i had em there, it was about 94 degrees out, whom ever opened the trunk next could not have been happy.

EEWWWWW! I can imagine the aroma...

Yeah - those guys were HUGE! That was six pounds, and Janet and I polished those off in record time.

While they were good - apparently I haven't lost my culinary skills

- had they been smaller, there would have been more, and a bit more tender.

I'm doing a boil at the church in a couple weeks, and wanted to do a test run. Looking at boiling around 300-400 lbs. Anyone want to come play?

Bet they were!

Ever had grits with calf liver & onions? Sounds like a strange combo, but they go great together.

Yeah, man.
If this oil slick deal gets as bad as some predict, crawfish might be the only game in town, seafoodwise that is, for a while.

Might not have them unless it's upland farm stock. the swamp most come from here goes into the Gulf.

Just got back from a church crawfish boil and the ones they had makes those pictured look like sea monkeys. These things were HUGE! Best I've seen in a while. Might be the last ones too. My unkle owns a crawfish farm so we should be o.k, but his are small.

Ate about 5 whole galic clove bunches. Startin' to feel the pressure....Kelly won't sleep well tonight.
