Blood sausage. Much like boudin, without the hot stuff. VERY rich flavor!

This was good stuff, but the arroz con jueyes (sort of a fried rice dish full of crab meat) was unbelievable. Had it under a palapa (thatched roof outdoor table) on the beach.

A feller could sure get used to living like that!
 
What's the purpose of the "Light" beer in the middle of all those carbs?

If you notice my 2 hands, there's a Cuba Libre in front of them & some hot sauce in front of it!! I know how to eat!!
 
The heineken is for just in case you get too enthusiastic with the hot sauce, right?

Well, Alan, Puerto Ricans have a certain disdain for hot sauce. That was primarily Bruce's (my brother-in-law from south Texas).

However, Heineken should do the trick in the HIGHLY unlikely event of being too "liberal" with the picante!
