We had "flame kissed" NY strip steak about 2 inches thick, and loaded baked potaoes (butter cheese and sour cream).
koolaid and sweet tea to drink.

What did you have?

Oh geez, I'd better go eat something! I just realized all I've had all day are potato chips and Cranberry Juice (prevents the stones, and I don't me the band)!

Basil

Fresh salad & Jerri's wonderful homemade shrimp gumbo with good, crunchy garlic bread, iced tea - followed by something I'm never supposed to eat: Jerri's homemade coconut pie

London Broil, Backed potato with sour cream, chive and butter. String beans, corn niblets and some really fresh peasant bread. I cup of strong Joe and I's was full.

leftover Baked Ziti with meat sauce. cheese, crackers, leftover wedding cake.
It's been a busy weekend at the church. Had most of my meals there this weekend
Sat, wedding of friends/members of the church
Sun morning service, extended sunday school/planning party
Sun evening, Installation service with many many guests for our new pastor, and refreshments afterwards.

P.S. We installed him in the kitichen, next to the stove. Figured he'd be useful there. hehehehehehehe

Homemade gnocchi with a broken up sausages in a marinara sauce. Finished of the better part of a bottle of red wine to wash it all down. First time I have made gnocchi never knew it was so simple and so much better than any that I have bought in the past.

OHgawd.

Yis, ya just made my chin drop. I've been thinkin' about gnoc's for a WEEK now. Used to be "allowed" to help my li'l Italian grandma roll 'em off a fork. Haven't made 'em in years and (we're ~trying to purge th' hovel) ran across the recipe last weekend... swore to make 'em sometime soon.
Now it's gonna be near obsession. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Hamburger cooked on the George Foreman grill. Too cold to go outside to grill.

We DID grill up. Outdoors. Italian sausage sandwiches again. They were sooo good yesterday we "double dipped". /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Seems 'twas a night for steak by many here! That's what we had too! Missus and I split a nicely marbled 1"er. with rice pilaf on the side and my favorite veggies, Greek-style black-eyed peas! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/yesnod.gif

hmmm... on Sunday... hmmmm... Oh yeah, I had a 4 Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Granola bars dipped in Peanut butter, and a bag of pop corn...

uh yup... real health nut I am... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

That's ok though, I'll be paying for that tonight when I go to the gym...
