What's for dinner?

Offline
It's been awhile since I did one of these... Heck it's been awhile since I've posted at all...

We're having a sirloin roast slow cooked with potatoes, carrots, corn, green beans, onion, and broth. Washed down with an ice cold C.A.B. (icehouse). For desert, slices of fresh cut pineapple and lemon meringue ice cream.

The slow cooker has been going since 10am thismorning... house smells fabulous! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What are YOU having tonight?

Chicken and roast potatoes. We just stuffed them in the oven...should be ready in about an hour. We generally don't eat anything green in this house, unless it's a salad. We just don't like green vegetables. My wife will sometimes pretend to like brocolli, but if it's a choice between the green or another potato, the potato wins everytime. Desert will probably be a Luigi's lemon ice. Then it's time to settle in and drink another Liberty Ale. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif

Chicken Rogan Josh, Naan, Basmati Rice (not takeout - its on the stove right now). Stella to wash it down - can't get Kingfisher from the local beer store.

Blueberry pie and ice cream for afters...

I had to pick up a nasty gas station 'sandwich' /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nopity.gif

tonight was "leftovers", but it's OK because it is beer/poker night!

For a switch, I'm online reasonably early and can remember what I had!

Lobster ravioli with three cheese pomodoro sauce. Icy cold chocolate moo juice. No dessert, as I don't often eat dessert, as I'm seldom hungry right after eating and by the time I'm hungry again it's too late to be eating substantial. Might have a little yogurt later.

We went down to the local Cajun place for shrimp!

What the hey,

New York Strip 2 inch cut with McCormicks Montreal Steak Seasoning over easy on the barbie, french bread, and a big old bowl of spinach washed down with a 12oz. diet pepsi.

Starbuck's. Venti white mocha frap light, with whipped cream to even things out.

Oooh, Indian. And you cooked it yourself?

We went to a "Casino Night" event: It was shrimp on ice, a cheese/spinach with nachos, chicken wings. Heine's for washin' it down. Blackjack for entertainment.

Tonight it was Oaxacan string cheese and chorizo dip, pico de gallo, spinach dip, avocado dip, veggie tray and Cuba Libres!

(Hate to see what my cholesterol level is about now!)

Tonight we're having porterhouse steaks marinated in a mango-pineapple sauce, pretty much just seared on the outsides. With homemade AuGratin potatoes. Pepsi to help it down... then poached pears with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for desert.

What are you having?
