Dale and Wendy send big hugs and kisses to our friends the Olson family in Washington state for the surprise gift of fresh smoked King salmon. I'd almost forgotten how wonderful and rich tasting REAL smoked salmon is. I haven't had the REAL stuff since I was teen and lived near a Jewish deli back in the '60s.

It's nice to have LBC friends and it's also nice to have fishing friends. Best of both worlds. Now, if the monsoon lets up, Amos is now 100% and needs some miles under his wheels.

Ahhh, but fresh corn on the cob grilled for dinner! Yummy!
 
Grandson & his grandma & mother made fresh biscuits, scrambled eggs & turkey bacon...& he's 3!
 
I had a salad, 2 little milk boxes, and a bottle of water... but I wake up at noon here. Man, what I wouldn't give for some fresh salmon! That sure is some really red stuff ya got there, so it MUST be good! In Maryland, I had to pay $20/lb for salmon that wasn't even that red.
 
That's one mighty fish!

Fruit and protein smoothies here in the Nation's Capital. Mmmm. Smooth.
