I know it depends on condition and whatever the market will bear but what is the ballpark price that original TR3 Hardtops go for?

A good one with all the hardware, rear window will top $1K. Install kits are $250 when available.

As I recall, the hardtop bits on mine included brackets under the rear capping, chrome finishers on top of the capping and chrome brackets that mounted to the top edge of the windscreen frame. I removed mine and gave them away as I knew I would never use them.

Possibly all cars got the fittings that are concealed under the rear capping -- I am unsure about that.

I believe the Roadster Factory still has mounting kits available.....they are not cheap however. Every once in a while you'll find some on E-Bay. As far as value goes Hagerty rates them as + $1000. Real easy to get that much invested if they need body, rust work, paint and mounting parts! I have a Parish Fiberglas aftermarket unit and the mounting parts I needed for it were almost $200.

Original window was Persplex (~=plexiglass.) I think that the kits for attaching to you car cost around $250-300 MossEU when you can find one.
