Came across this today, and I am trying to figure out from the photo if it what I think it is. I am waiting for more pics from the owner.
He came aquired it when someone passed away, says it is a 1961 MG Midget. He is close by, so I am going to make arraingements to check it out, see if I can aquire it.
I THINK it is a Right hand drive MGB from what I can see here.

Early RHD Midget.

Agree as well, FWIW. The little cutaway behind the doors is a Spridget thing, and it looks like the front wings are missing and you can see the inner fenders.

A RHD Midget is worth saving... but then I have a thing for RHD cars.

Look at the rear wheel arch, Nial.

Does that mean you have some kind of "Left Brain" kind of thing going?

In looking at the pictures, what I see is the trailing edge of the door is angled and MGB doors are straight - it's a Midget. Now, since it's "only" a Midget, and not a B, you'll only be at 11 1/2!

I do like the fact that it's RHD....that'd be enough for me!

Or maybe it's a right brain thing since you'd shift with your left hand... who knows???

So is it my understanding, that if I were to aquire this mg, in doing so, shifting by the left hand I would gain a stroke, and also be at 11 1/2?
He called me today also offering up a Ford Model A car for sale.
I'm so confused!
