Both sick in bed with the head cold flu.
Mostly pushing fluids and taking meds.

Saturday weather calling for a high of 100* with
heavy rains and thunderstorms.

Maybe dinner out Saturday night, maybe not.

Sunday continued work on Crypt Car or still in bed?

Bluuuff, I hate being sick in bed. So boring.

So what everyone doin'?

I just got over being sick & hurting my back. I'm overloaded with housework. Need to finish the laundry room of I'm done for.

GT work if I can squeeze it in:
Change oil to see if low oil pressure and ticking goes away.
Swap seats for a used set I got that are in great shape.
Replace C post panels.
Remove & try and replace headliner.

I've also got used parts orders to fill.

Rejoicing over the rain! Been MONTHS and the fire threat has been a constant here.
We just may "go native" inna back yard in pagan celebration! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

More work on the shack.
Seems to be a recurring theme these days...

Saturday-Putting a trans in my Twin Cam Escort racecar project (USA version: not the *cool* one). Outside. In a gravel driveway.

I pulled the old, bad trans out today. Right now I'm covered in cuts and bruises from that experience.
Also, at one point we had a hail storm with some good-size hail. Then lightning....it was great fun!

I am having shoulder problems and yesterday, my physical therapist told me to take it easy for a while...otherwise, I would have kept going and put the good trans in today.

Sunday-There's a pretty good British car show not far from here (in Clinton, NJ)...we may cruise over to that in the Miata.

Hoping for a somewhat normal weekend for a change. I hired someone to help with the business so won't have to work. Finished painting the shop yesterday so will be putting it back together tomorrow. I still don't have the dock in & am hoping to get that taken care of. Maybe get the boat mucked out and ready to go.

Saturday: Drive the 3 up and down the Route 8 cooridor of the valley to get supplies to perform the days chores. Only trouble is after the first five miles I seem to forget what it is I'm suppose to get so multiple trips are usually in order.

Sunday: Check the weather forcast, pack a lunch, motivate some people to get it in gear or lest be left behind, then fire up the Sky for a day trip to Waterford, British By The Sea Gathering to meet up with Brosky and Kodanja.

I'm packing my camera equipment up for my trip up north, going to watch it rain tomorrow, then flying projects on Sunday then on the keys on Monday.

Weed the beans, till the tomatoes, pick the squash and zuchini, water the garden..

then to the garage....

fix the e-brake, find speakers and build boxes, install the radio, figure out how to make the horn work..

cook the squash with butter and onions, make zuchini bread.

grade my kids final exams, get ready for the last three days of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow is the big car show at Three Hills, in central Alberta (read... small town). Although this car show probably doubles the population of the town... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Then in the evening back here in Calgary there is a cultural event in downtown Calgary, something about Asian foods and culture, etc... Sounds interesting enough to check out. Good thing I have that three GB of memory cards for the camera... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif Will it be enough?

Oh yeah, and tomorrow will be the first highway run in my new 1989 Camry, it was just safetied today so all should be okay...

Oh and I will probably start working on installing the new timing chain on my little Nissan Truck in addition to working on the Jag.
