That number is "year irrelevant"....need a bit more information - how 'bout some photos?

Look at the VIN number on the dash and/or the door jamb. We can tell from that.

For example....GHN5UHxxxxxx

From the photos you emailed me, I think its a '69...but I need a couple more - you have mail.

The '69 would be easy to identify if the side reflectors are still intact.

Also...IF the seats are still intact and original, they have a unique headrest. (I took mine off).

See attached photo of my '69 MGC...the reflectors on the B would be identical.

The photo Rick sent me has the side reflectors & ,though the headrests are gone, he said the dual holes are there!

I might be wrong but if the commission number is right, it should be a 69. In 68 the commission numbers started with GU and then the number, in 69 they started with G and then the number and in 70 the numbers are too high. Sound right ?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif PJ

Its a '69

Is the commision # on the Drivers fender ('67)?

By the time that one was built (69) the commission number was on the plate in the photo, pop-riveted to the under-hood panel that holds the hoodlatch. I'm pretty certain the last year for the comm. number on the inner left wing was '67.
