What wire on bumper box?

I am reassembling my BT7 and can't remember what cable attaches to the right side bumper box by a P-clip. I think it may be the battery cable but it doesn't make sense based on the way I have that cable routed currently. I have it routed along the frame, under the rear axel and attached to the bulkhead forward of the trunk. Attaching it to the bumper box would make sense if the cable Passed up and over the axel. Which way does it go?

what does everyone advise when restoring your car??? "take more photos than you'll think you'll ever need". Well 900 so far is not enough.

HiRob.

I do not know this car .However, any cable that passed under the axel would seem to place it in harms way.

Thanks to Keoke's comment, I rerouted the battery cable over the axel and attached it with P clips to the bulkhead in front of the axel and then to the bumper box and finally it passes through the rear bulkhead to the boot. It looks logical and safe. Thanks Keoke's for the suggestion.

Rob,
I somehow missed this thread until now. The battery cable is definitely the wire that connects to that bumper box. To the rear, it goes through the bulkhead into the trunk and to the front it drops down and runs under the car. Be sure to get a nice healthy rubber grommet on the cable where it passes through the bulkhead; that's a lot of amps to be shorting to the body.

Keith, I've routed it just like you describe and yes I instaled new rubber grommets in both the bulkhead and other panel in boot. On to the rear suspension....
