What will your next LBC likely be?

Well, I've got the TR2. that was my ultimate Triumph goal (the Itialia is just a pipe dream) Now I just gotta put it togeather... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif so If I actually went looking for the next one I WANTED. It'd probably be an MG T series... But most likely it'll be the next orphan I stumble on (or stumbles on me) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have a longing ache for a 1969 GT-6. But as someone explained, it's stupidly hot in the summer, and useless in the winter. Ok, pie in the sky....Healey 3000, or an early E-type convertible. Then you can bury me, I'd be done.

Even though this thread started on the Triumph forum, I have always liked MGB GT's. Been spending a little too much time on the British V8 site lately too. Gears are turning. Not always a good thing. I need to wait until I get the TR8 squared away how I want it. Its my daily driver now but there are some "improvements" instore for it. Nothing too radical though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Wow - with so many people answering that their next would be a GT6 no wonder they're getting hard to find!

I was thinking GT6, really want a TR3. Badly....

I won't tell ya that the guy I got my TR2 from offered me the tatty (but definatly fixable) GT6 that was stuffed outside next to his garage for $200. I had no way to get it home, or I woulda taken it.
Oh well.
He was trying to find it a new home, so I'm sure it's gone by now.

As Banjo already knows my next project will be 1 or 2 1958 Jaguar MK VIII's web page . Since I pick them up in April, I'll have to get the Roadster done by spring. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Oh yea!!!! You're gonna like those! I gotta get goin on mine
I'll have to send you some of the links I've found. And I'm finding more people with them too. I now know of 4 of them (from MK7-9s) within 50 miles of me. 2 on the road. one of the others available for me to scavange /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

With a lot of help from BCF, I will have my 1959 XK150S Roadster on the road in 2007. Also, I will put my TR6 in every day (almost) use if I can find a hardtop between LA and GA.

I know - a Triumph 1300TC - bought, but I have still not seen it! Then I suspect it will be another Triumph!

It was Triumphs first effort at a front-wheel-drive car. This one is the TC with twin SUs and the Spitfire MkIII engine. It evolved into the Dolomite, but by that time they had reverted to rear-wheel-drive. It is styled to look like a smaller Triumph 2000. There were about 150,000 of them made, 35,000 TCs, but it is thought that there are only 30 TCs remaining.

I finished my TR3B and the "bug" bit again so I got a MGTD, in running condition. I always liked the T Series. Maybe the itch is attacking again. A TR6 is a good driveable car (the MGTD is fun but slow and not the most comfortable). A MGB is also appealing. I had a 1965 many years ago. So probably a TR6 or MGB if I can get more garage space and the "boss" says it is OK.
