Jaguar overdrive
Here's another Jaguar catalog from them (XKs Unlimited?) that mentions that model as well.
Jaguar catalog
Definitely not real clear as to the specific application.

Randy Forbes said:Back in the late 70s, while employed at Austin-Healey West, XKs Unlimited used to bring their overdrives to me for rebuilding. Most of the time, I got just the gearbox, but often they'd bring back the whole car to get it adjusted properly.
I once made the mistake of putting the "hood" down on an XK140dhc, and discovered the threads were rotted around the rear window when putting it back up. So ended our relationship!
Thirty-some (30+) years later, I'm still rebuilding overdrives, this one for a restoration shop in Michigan.
Not just, but I happened to do a couple of them back to back since the 1st of the year. I did my own, with a full complement of polymer coatings (thermal barrier/thermal dispersant and dry-film lubricant) and there's an all British restoration shop just over the stateline (in Michigan) that has me doing some work for them too. <span style="font-weight: bold">Randy,
Very interesting! So do you just rebuild overdrives as a sideline?
